The GWO First Aid Refresher is a condensed, practical training session aimed at wind industry professionals whose GWO First Aid certificate is approaching its expiry date. Rather than repeating the full foundational course, this refresher allows you to efficiently update your qualification by reviewing and consolidating the skills and knowledge you already hold.
During the half-day programme, you will revisit how to respond to life-threatening emergencies, operate an AED, and identify the signs of both serious and minor injuries and illnesses. The training also covers the basics of normal body functions, giving you the physiological background needed to recognise when something is wrong and respond appropriately.
A blended learning option is available, allowing participants to complete part of the training as e-learning prior to the classroom session. Upon successful completion, your GWO First Aid certificate is renewed and valid for a further two years, keeping you compliant with GWO standards and ready to work safely in the field.
